EDPR completes Asset Rotation deal for a 207 MWac solar portfolio in Italy
Madrid, December 10th 2025: Following the information released to the market on August, 13th 2025, EDP Renováveis, S.A. ("EDPR”) is pleased to announce the completion of the Sale and Purchase Agreement with Encavis to sell a 100% equity stake in a 207 MWac (248 MWdc) operating portfolio with a potential extension of 17 MWdc solar portfolio in Italy for an Enterprise Value of €0.3 billion which also considers potential synergies from hybridisation.
The transaction scope comprises five operating solar plants and respective land located in the regions of Lazio and Puglia, Italy, and with an average asset life of less than one year. Four of these projects benefit from long-term Power Purchase Agreements, while the other project benefits from a 20-year Contract for Difference.
