Madrid, October 29th 2019: EDP Renováveis, S.A. ("EDPR") informs that has received the resignation of Gilles August as member of EDPR’s Board of Directors. EDPR would like to thank Gilles August for his dedication and contribution to the Company.
In order to fill the vacancy, following the proposal submitted by the Nominations and Remunerations Committee, EDPR Board of Directors approved today the appointment by co-option of Rui Manuel Rodrigues Lopes Teixeira as member of EDPR Board of Directors. Rui Teixeira is also a member of EDP Executive Board of Directors. The ratification of this appointment will be proposed to the next General Shareholders’ Meeting.
