EDP Renováveis awarded with 38 MW in the Polish renewable energy auction

Madrid, November 22nd 2018: EDP Renováveis, S.A. (“EDPR”) secured 15-year long term contract at the Polish onshore wind auction to sell electricity to be produced by Korsze wind farm with a total capacity of 38 MW. The wind farm project is located in the north east of Poland, with installation expected to occur in 2020, increasing EDPR installed capacity in the country from the current 418 MW.



With this new contract, EDPR has now contracted more than 3.4 GW of global wind onshore and solar capacity additions to be installed from September 2018 onwards, and in addition to its wind offshore projects.
