EDP Renováveis, S.A. ("EDPR"), through its fully owned subsidiary EDP Renewables North America LLC, has secured $370 million of institutional equity financing from BNY Mellon in exchange for an interest in the 100 MW Meadow Lake V, 99 MW Redbed Plains and 98 MW Quilt Block.
Madrid, July 18th 2017: EDP Renováveis, S.A. ("EDPR"), through its fully owned subsidiary EDP Renewables North America LLC, has secured $370 million of institutional equity financing from BNY Mellon in exchange for an interest in the 100 MW Meadow Lake V, 99 MW Redbed Plains and 98 MW Quilt Block. The projects are located in the state of Indiana, Oklahoma and Wisconsin respectively, and have previously secured long-term Power Purchase Agreements.
The institutional partnership structure established enables an efficient utilization of the fiscal benefits to be generated by the projects.
