MFS Investment Management notifies qualified shareholding in EDPR

EDP Renováveis, S.A. ("EDPR") is providing the following information to the market:
MFS Investment Management notified EDPR that in accordance with article 23 of the Royal Decree 1362/2007, it holds a qualified shareholding of 27,149,038 ordinary shares of EDPR, which corresponds to 3.112% of EDPR's share capital and 3.112% of the respective voting rights.
The qualified shareholding resulted from the acquisition in regulated market, on September 19th 2013, of 1,052,047 shares which corresponds to 0.121% of EDPR's voting rights.
